PROTESTS CONSOLIDATION

enjoyed the privilege of a two teach
er branch school we having a very
good school building within the dis
tance of one mile of every child in
our community. The same having
been seated with pantont desks with
the understanding that our children
were to reap the benefit therof.
About the timo of the origin of a
welfare officer in Jackson county,
our school was reduced to a one
teacher and the fourth grade. Later
the question of consolidation arose.
Some goober-pea eyed fellow just
swiped our little school out of ex
istence, and having hauled off the
desks, leaving a number of children
in our community from the ago of
six to twelve, the distance of three
or four miles from school, whose
parents are paying a very high tax
to support a school four miles a
way. We seeing the necessity of
schooling our children we feel like
our ohildren are just as worth of
some arrangoment as to their con
veyance to school as other | com
munities which have the special ar
rangements. We will thank the ed
itor if these ren^arks are in print
and we ask that these remarks be
considered by men of authority.

in the last few weeks.
After Congress discontinued the
free distribution of Vaccine to the
fanners the County Commissioners
of the county have decided that they
will still furnish it to the farmers
free. You can get this Vaccine by
coming to me or R. R Nicholson,
Register of Deeds.
We are using a vaecine that im
muncs for life and one vaccination
is all that is nescessary for a calf.
Some man in each community
should have an inBtriment and I will
gladly go and spend time enougl!
with him to show him how best to
use it. It will be impossible for me
to reach every man in the county so
that I will have to work through
tome other person in each com
munity.

cinated please see me or Mr. Nich
olson at once.
