Among them are the following : To the minis terial fund, $25,000; for a Baptist school in Lumberton, $15,000; endowment tor the aged and in firm ministers, $6,000; for the Baptist remale University in Raleigh, $500. ..Mrs Catharine Whitener, Daniel B. Whitener, residence of her son Jacob's Fotk in this widow of died at the Frank, on county, on ed nesday, the 3rd ripe old ace of 10 1 inst., at the years, 9 months and a days. This remarkable old lady was born September 1st, 17S9, was married June 3rd, 1815, and was buried June 4th, 1891, Her son says she was never bed sick, never had a physician and never took a dose of "drug store medicine" in all her life.
