'The Daily Tar Heel/Monday, March 15,1993 8 Men’s track takes 9th in indoor NCAAs Staff reports INDIANAPOLIS The North Carolina men ’ s track team tied for ninth in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, with senior Randy Jor dan grabbing All-America honors in the 55-meter dash Saturday night in the Hoosier Dome. UNC finished with 14 points, tied with Florida and Eastern Michigan. The ninth-place finish is UNC’s second con secutive top-10 finish. Last year, UNC came in seventh with 21 points. Jordan finished fourth in the 55- meters in 6.26 seconds. All-America honors go to the top six in each event.
