Even when employed in building railroads the convicts crowd out honest labor desirous of employ ment, but work on the public high ways is a bete noir, shunned and dis liked by all, and here the convict can perform labor which will add millions to the value of real estate and aid largely In attracting the capital and immigration needed to develop our wondeifnl results Grand Barbecue.
