' Our reporter visited the mine in question last week and found some SOU or U00 tons of ore on the surface dump which had been extracted in sink ing a prospect shaft. The Tein has been developed by -spa ouia and shaft for a distance of 200 feet and to the depth of 65 or 70 feet, giving at least 1(1,000 ton of ore in sight at present. We were informed that by act ual resnlls on a Chilean mill for tome month the ore yielded about l 5 to the ton.
