Ellen Terry is, perhans. the ereat- est living exponent of this kind of beauty. Her chief charm, is her grace, and she keeps constantly in motion so that your eyes are ever pursuing her and admiring her. Miss Anderson belongs to the same Eehool. I saw her in New York before she went to Europe; then she was merely a beautiful woman; since that time she has be come an artist, and not only the form, the spirit of beauty is in lier, and she is fascinating. She has ac quired the art of gracefulness, and learned the secret that motion gives a charm to beauty of her kind. A gentle man in one of the suburban wards owns a fine specimen of the spaniel breed, which is very fond of chil dren, and when any little ones visit his master's house constitutes him self their companion, 'playmate and guardian. A few days ago a lady with an infant visited the gen tleman, and in the course of the day the child was laid on a pillow on the floor to amuse ltseli lor a time. The doe: took his place near the little one, as usual. The day was hot and the flies bad. and they made the baby a target of freqitent attacks. This rendered her cestless. Doggie watched her for a few min utes, and then, walking close up, with his nose or paw drove away every fly as' soon as it lit on the baby's face, and did it so gently too as not to disturb her in the least. The dog's actions attracted the at tention of the mother and others, who were filled with astonishment atjbi8 thoughtful kindness. This story has the merit of truth. Pittsburg Chronicle. Look at Ilk!
