Miss Sally Palmer after a visit to Trinty has returned home to the de light of her friends. Mrs. W. G. Egerton and Miss Rosa Perry, of Macon, spent Wednesday afternoon in town shopping. The many friends of Mrs. Lucy Scoggin are pleased, to learn that her condition is more hopeful. Mrs. Thomas Peck and Mrs. Brad ley motored to Henderson Wednesday afternoon and spent the night. Mr. Earnest Newell has resigned his position with the Farmers Ware house, and gone back to the farm. The Betterment Association meets every second Wednesday afternoon at three-thirty o'clock in Graded School building. The U. D. C's meet every first Fri day afternoon at four o'clock in their regular meeting place over Allen & Fleming's Store. Miss Louise Allen, of Richmond, Va.. is visiting her friend Miss Mary Har ris, much to the delight of her many friends in Warrenton and "neighbor ing town." The Woman Auxilary of St. Mary's Guild, Episcopal Church, meets every first Monday at four o'clock at the home of the President Mrs. Hannah -Our farmer friends will notice card Arrm&ton. in this issue giving notice of close of tobacco market here on February 28th. He ex pressed himself as being much pleased with the semi-weekly Warren Record. Miss Helen Ca'roll, of near Warren Plains, had quite a painful accident Tuesday afternoon in dislocating her knee cap. This is quite a painful ac cident, but Dr. Holt was soon on the scene and relieved the sufferer. Mr. Stephen Duke, of Marmaduke was in town Thursday. He remarked that he "killed hogs yesterday," ana killed 31. Ask him how he gets that number?
