REPORTERS SEND NEWS OF WARREN " INEZ NEWS ITEMS. We regret to report the serious illness of Mr. T. T. Davis. ' We hope that he may soon recover. Miss Margaret Williams of War renton spent last week with Miss Eleanor Powell. Mrs T. W. Hight returned to her home in Warrenton on Sunday after- noon, alter a iew aays visit iu hci sister, Mrs. G. W. Harris. . Misses Luna King and Johnella Shearin with Mr. Richard Conn' and several others of Areola paid Mrs. G. W. Harris a short visit on Sunday afternoon. We are having nice weather for our meeting this week, which we hope will be a success. Mr. Daniel Capps of Areola was in Inez on Sunday. Mr. G. W. Harris called on his uncle, Mr.. F. S. Leonard of Centerville, on Sunday afternoon. Misses Romie King and Grace Bell of Essex spent Saturday night with Mrs. G. W. Harris. Mrs W. C. Fagg of Warrenton is spending a' few days in Inez this week. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Odom of Hol lister were pleasant visitors in Inez on Monday afternoon. Misses Luna King and Johnella Shearin of Areola are spending the week with Mrs. B. 0. Ayscue and at tending the meeting. Miss Eleancfr Powell and her fath er motored to Warrenton- on Tuesday afternoon. Best wishes. DOLLY. VAUGHAN NEWS NOTES. Miss Rachel Porter returned home last Thursday from Hollister, .where she had been visiting for several days among friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Eason of Hol lister were visitors in town on Sun day, at the hotel. Misses Virginia Pegram and Mar garet Brown are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Pegram near Hollister this week. ' Miss Bettie Cree Tucker spent the week end with her parents here. Mrs. John Wright returned home on Saturday from Burlington, where she had been on a visit of several days. Messrs. W. R. Vughan and Vernon Bennett, Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. W. C. Porter visited Mr. and Mrs. Finn Kelly last Sunday. Miss Esther Vaughan left Saturday for a pleasant visit of several days among relatives in and near Hender son. Miss Edith Harris returned home on Friday night from Ocean View, where she had been spending several days., Mrs. J. R. Fisher and son, Clyde, were called to Rocky Mount on Sun day to attend the funeral of her sis ter's husband, Mr. Wheless, former ly of (Jastalia, but who naa been a resident -of Rocky Mount 'for "the past three years. Miss Annie Rodgerson Jeft this week for Richmond where she ex pects to visit for several days before going South for her fall millinery. Quite a number of Vaughan Sun-. day School pupils attended the Sun day School Union at Gardner's on Sunday. The union will convene with the Vaughan Baptist Church the fifth Sunday in October. We extend a hearty welcome to every Sunday school. The Home Telephone & Telegraph Co. have disconnected our telephone at the pay station here. This leaves us cut off from Littleton and Macon when in need of a doctor. Why should we allow them to have their lines through town if we can't have the consideration of service ? It is up to the farmers to co-operate in such an arrangement for by doing they get the whole worth of their pro duce, having eliminated the extri expense of distributing it Then also the farmer will find that he merely has to bring his produce to market and there the consumer comes to purchase it. He does not have to look all over town for a purchaser. This market will save the farmer in the following ways: 1. A quick sale for his produce. 2.
