DAVIS The ladies of the Palmer Springs community were delightfully entertained on Tuesday evening, June 25, when Mrs. F. T. Read of Warrenton and Mrs. R. B. Robinson of Littleton gave a miscellaneous shower in honor of Mrs. Arrington Davis of Henderson, who previous to her marriage on June 15 was Miss Elizabeth Read. The lawn of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Read, already beautiful for situation with its majestic oaks and carpet of green, lent itself well to the decorative hand, presenting a very attractive scene.
