NOTICE TO VOTERS The voters of the proposed Spec ml scnooi lax District, in sandy Creek Township, Warren County, State of North Carolina, described and bounded as follows, vix: Beginning at Shocco Creek, where the forebay of Shocco Mill is located, thence up branch from forebay to head of said Branch; thence in straight line to Henderson road where plantation road enters at Brown's store; thence down said plantation road to point where "Old Bluff Bridge" used to be; thence down Sandy Creek to Franklin county line; thence Eastwardly on Franklin county line to Alston's Bridge; thence along public road to Hickory Grove Bridge; thence up Shocco Creek to the beginning. Will take notice that pursuant to a petition not fewer than twentyfive qualified voters in aforesaid District, endorsed by the County Board of Education of Warren County in the State of North Carolina, we, the Board of County Commissioners of said County of Warren, by auathority vested in us by Act. 17, sec. 219, 220, 221, 222, 223, School Laws 1923 and amendments thereto, do hereby call an election to be held in the aforesaid District at Old Brodie Post Office, Warren County, N. C., on the 17th day of August, 1929, to ascertain the will of the people within the proposed District, whether there shall be levied in said District a special annual tax of not more than 30 cents on the $100 valuation of property to supplement the funds for the six months public school term for the said district. Those in favor of the levy and collection of said tax shall vote a ticket on which shall be printed or written the words "For Special Tax" and those who oppose shall vote a ticket on which shall be written or printed the words "Against Special Tax."
