Father's Day. Mr. Shearin, who will be 821 in July, and Mrs. Boone, who will be 79 in July, celebrated their birthdays at this time in I order that all of the children might be able to attend. Wilbur (Doc) Shearin. who has been unable to attend for several years, was present for j the occasion this year and all1 14 children were present. Ronald, Carolyn, Larry, Ellen and Edward of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Moretz and daughter, Lorilha, of Alexandria, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Earlie W. Shearin and daughter, Mrs. Billy Clark, of Warren Plains. Mr and Mrs. Jack Shearin of Norlina, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Stansbury and son, Joe Ed. of Littleton, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur (Doc) Shearin and son. Karl, of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Moseley and son, Wayne, of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs Edwin Shearin and children of Scotland Ncclc, Mr. and Mrs. Alford and daughter, Terry Lynn, of Rocky Mount, Deanna Shearin of Raleigh, Edwina and Jimmy of Scotland Neck, Mr. and Mrs. R. Shearin of Hollister, Pamela Maither of Alexandria. Va., and three visitors, T. P. Williams of Richmond. Va., and Mrs. Gladys Rogers of Arlington, Va., wife of Colonel Richard Rogers, reecently deceased. Among those unable to attend were David Shearin of East Carolina College, Charles Shearin of UNC, Chapel Hill. Robert Hunter Shearin of Greensboro, Jesse Shearin of Wake Forest College Winctnn-I Salem, Mrs. Ricky Benton and son and Mr. Benton of Aikens. ^.S. C., and Mr. Ben Allen of Henderson. Among the Boone relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boone and children. Faye and Thomas Robert of Norfolk, Va., and Miss Christine Boone of Henderson.
