Mrs. Walter Bender visited her sister, Mrs. Carlton Quails, in Park View Hospital, Rocky Mount, on Saturday. Mrs. Hal White, Jr., Mrs. A. G. Bender and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Holtzman visited Mrs. L. A. Kilian on Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Hecht and son, Michael, and M'ss Karen Taylor of Carv visited Mr. and Mrs. Adam Seaman and Mrs. Eva Hayes on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Malon M.Cobb and children, Valerie and Pete of Beaufort spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Holtz man and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cobb. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mat hews and Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Seaman of Henderson visit ed Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Holtz ' man. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Snead and Ricky, Keith, and Cindy Snead, all of Laurinburg, were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Ingle. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Sea man and son, MarshaU, Mrs. Melton Stainback, Mrs. L. M. Paschall and Mrs c. P. Holtz man spent Thursday in Ral eigh. Mr. L. M. Paschall, Sr., Mr. L. M. Paschall,, Jr., and Master David Paschall were recent dinner, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Gupton in Louisburg. LAS Meets The Ladies Aid Society of St. Paul's Lutheran Church met Thursday night at the Par ish Hall with Mrs. p. e. Brauer as hostess. Mrs. M. E. Franke opened the meet ing with scripture and prayer and Mrs. G. A. Daeke, Jr., president, pre sided over the business ses sion when plans were made to put a new rug In the kitchen. The hostess served cookies, sandwiches, candy and punch.
