The opening hymn, "Oh How I Love Jesus," was led by Dora Davis. The Rev. Mr. Thornton led the residents in prayer and spoke on the teachings found in the fifth chapter of St. John. He set out Educators Meet At Gathering Of Vaughn School PTA Warren county school superintendent J. R. Peeler and school board member Dr. L. B. Henderson were guest speakers at this month's meeting of the Vaughan Elementarv School P.T.A. President Richard Roddy presided over the May 4 session in which the association voted to support a consolidated school for Warren county, with its site choice being on Highway 158. The P.T.A. was later entertained with a musical drama by fifth and sixth graders taught by Mrs. Threewitts and Mrs. Faulkner, respectively. Accompanied by Mrs. H. E. Dickerson on the piano, the group performed many selections, including "I Love A Parade," "Let's Sing About Liberty," "I Like The Sound Of America", and others. The program concluded with a gift presentation to Mrs. Dickerson by the children. several additional pine tree* on the grounds and planted some squash, radishes, spinach, corn, okra, cucumbers, watermelons and cantaloupes in the garden and set out tomato and pepper plants.
