over Norlina. The Lady Jackets
chalked up their 13th consecutive
win of the season with a
M-27 victory. The hoys rallied
in the second half to clinch a
68-65 win.
The eirls game got off to a
real slow start as first quarter
scores read 6-2 in favor of
Warrenton. The tempo picked
up somewhat in the next period
as the Lady Jackets poured in
13 points to Norlina's 4. This
cave Warrenton a 19-6 halftime
lead.
At one point early in the
fourth quarter John Graham
had a sizable 32-16 lead over the
Lady Waves, hut the Lady
Jackets were held to one more
point before the final buzzer.

Warren Woman Arrested In
Connection With Car Theft
A Warren County woman
was arrested Saturday by

the theft of a stolen car.
The woman. Esther Stetson,
and her husband. Morocco, both
of Rt. 1, Warrenton allegedly
went to a Chrysler dealership
in Washington, D. C.. on Jan. 10
and were given a 1974 Chrysler
Imperial to test drive. The
drive brought them back to the
area with the vehicle.
Stetson changed the license
plate, inspection sticker and
registration from his auto to
the loaned car and drove to
North Carolina.
The Sheriff's department

charged with receiving a stolen
car and placed in the Warren
County jail under $2000 bond.
Additional warrants from the
D. C. area may be upcoming,
reported Deputy Dorsey
Capps. He stated that receiving:
a stolen car is a felony and

Funeral services for Mrs.
Edna Mustian Harris. 71, who
died at her home in Macon on
Monday after a short illness,
will be held at 3 p. m. today
(Thursday) from the Macon
United Methodist Church by
the pastor, the Rev. Floyd
Morrow. Burial will be in the
Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris, wife of the late
Charles A. Harris, was the
daughter of the late William A.
and Ava Carroll Mustian. She
was a member of the Macon
United Methodist Church, the
United Methodist Woman's
Society, the Macon Woman's
Club and had served for a
number of years as town clerk
for Macon.
She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Louise H.
Richardson of Jamestown; five
sons. Charles A. Harris. Jr.. of
Ahnskie, Walter J. Harris of
Warrenton. Albert P. Harris of

January 18. Mr. Robinson was a
deacon of Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church for 34 years.
