Smoke Signals
News Of Warren Academy
The snow played havoc with
our ballgames this year. The
surprise snow storm Friday
morning caused our games for
Friday night to be postponed
until Saturday night. Who
could believe that snow could
cause such excitement! By the
time school was out. we had
about one and a half inches on
the ground. There were a lot of
snow balls being thrown in the
parking lot. What a lot of fun
for the students, especially for
the ones who were lucky
enough not to get hit by a flying
snow ball.
Tim Capps. his parents, and
Mrs. Charles Johnson, his
• English teacher, were guests of

Me" were announced at that
time. We were sorry that Tim
was not one of the three top
winners, but we are very proud
of him for being the district
winner, particularly since this
district included some of the
larger counties. Wake, Gran
ville and Durham.

little practice! Who knows, they
may come up with a "Giminski!"
This night promises to be full of
fun and surprises.
