SAVOR Y-SE ASONEDstuffing fills the holiday turkey with goodness. The traditional holiday meal calls for family favorites: candied yams, giblet gravy, creamed onions, turnips with apple slices, whipped potatoes and the noble bird with a savory stuffing. No\v, there is no doubt that stuffing makes the bird. And herb-seasoned sluffing gets it off to a perfect start. Bread w ith flakes of herbs and spices already baked in gives this stuffing its flavor accent. Simply follow the package directions for adding melted butter and water. To give it a personal touch use the recipe below. SAUSAGE-MUSHROOM STUFFING I (IK ounce) package Pepperidge Karm herb- seasoned stuffing 3 tablespoons butter I cup sliced celery I pound fresh mushrooms, sliced I pound sausage meat 1/4cup snipped parsley Prepare stuffing according to package directions. Norlina, which captured the conference baseball crown last season, wasn't in championship form Monday afternoon as Parkview rocked Tim Hawks for seven runs in the first and second innings while Norlina was scoring once. Hawks was relieved of his pitching duties in the third inning when Coach Bob Price motioned for Craig Richardson to take the mount. Richardson's visit on the mount was short lived as Lee Stultz took over in the next inning. The biggest inning for Norlina was in the third when they scored three runs. Stultz held the visiting Dragons scoreless for two innings but he was clipped for one run in the sixth and two in the seventh innings. He fanned one batter. Craig Richardson batted 2-3, Chip Gums 1-1 and Morris Aycock 1-2, to lead the Blue Waves hitting attack. Today (Thursday) the Blue Waves host Bluestone at 4 p. m. on the Norlina athletic field.
