So I've decided this is one way, I have to say it, and to show it. You're special in a lot of ways, But mainly because you belong to me. You're special. Hear a daughter's praise. Through eyes of love, here's what I see. Mother, you have an independent strain. A strong will, all your own, Brave through all your husband's pain, As, for ten years, you reared us all alone. 'Twas you who waited, so late at night, 'Til we were home safe, behind your closed door. 'Twas you who taught us how to live right, Sent us to church. God's Word to explore. Fond memories are of infinite worth. Little things that mean so very much. Your green thumb, your love of God's earth. Your sewing our clothes, with a real mother's touch. Your love of walking, and your love of the snow. Your willingness to help others, to care and to share. Your willingness to listen, to let others know, You love them, and will help them forget their despair. Mother, you've had your problems by the score, But you've never neglected us as you have solved them. I give you anew, all my love, and with it, much more, God's blessing, as in all your life, you involve Him. Mother, it will soon be Mother's Day. Thank you, for all you've done for me. Mother, one last thing I'd like to say, I hope to be like you, as you are in memory. ANNMULCHI A DAUGHTER First Baptist Church of Noriina, Rev. S. N. Mas sen burg. Pastor. No services this week.
