Sale Of Land For Taxes
LIENS ON REAL PROPERTY
Under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by
Section 105-369 of the General Statutes of North Carolina
and pursuant to an order of the Board of Commissioners of
Warren County, dated February 7, 1977, 1 will offer for sale
and will sell at public auction, for cash, to the highest bidder
at the courthouse door in Warrenton, North Carolina, at 12
o'clock noon on the 6th day of June, 1977, liens upon the real
estate described below for the non-payment of taxes owing
for the year 1976. The amount advertised will be increased
by interest and costs and the omission of interest and costs
from the amount advertised will not constitute a waiver of
the taxing unit's claim for those items. No bid will be
received unless it is at least equal to the principal amount of
the taxes advertised plus interest and costs accrued thereon
at the date of sale. The real estate that is subject to the lien,
the name of the persons to whom the property is listed for
taxes, and the principal amount of the taxes are set out
below. Reference is made to the records in the office of the
Register of Deeds of this county and in the office of the Tax
Supervisor of this county for a more particular description
of the real estate.
This the 9th day of May, 1977.

In Memoriam
la memory of oar brothers
•ad eons Raymond aad
James Alston who departed
this Ufe several years ago.
Yod were both called
awajr quite young in life, and
though it caused our hearts
to ache, we know our
heavenly father knows best.
He's too wise to make a
mistake. It may be that he
had work up there that could
only be done by you, and for
this you were called from
your laboring here to a job
that you had to do.
Dear Raymond and
James, though our family
circle was broken when you
went away. We hope to be
reunited with you in our
heavenly borne someday.
Mother and Father, Mr.
and Mrs. Ned Alston, Sister,
Emma Boone, Brothers,
Ray C. and Hardy C. Alston
In memory of James
Bernard Williams.
So young you were when
you were called, but there
comes a time for all of us
when we must say good bye.
But fsith and hope and love
and trust can never, never
die.
Although we miss you
very much. Your memories
still cast their gentle glow to
grace our days and light our
paths where ever we may
go.

It has been one year ago
May 27, 1976, since dear
aunt Kate Bender passed
away.
She was kind and good to
everyone. Always trying to
help someone. There on her
sick bed she would lie
asking her Savior to take
her to be with him. She was
a good Christian woman and
raised a fine Christian
family. All her grief and
pain is over; she is safely
home to rest.
