They attended the graduation of Chuck Gupton, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wiggins and Mrs. Fuller. Mrs. Martha Draffin has returned from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Walter Noneman in Edenton. Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Banks of Chamblee, Ga., visited for several days last week with Mrs. J. T. Walker and Miss Minnie Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Rick P. Proper and son, Presley, of Asheboro stayed with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Watson, for several days last week. Mr. and Mrs. George Melvin and Peggy of Ashland. Ky., visited with Mrs. Maggie Adcock last Thursday. Mrs. Ora Moore has returned to her home after a trip which included visits to her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harton of Charlotte, to her sister, Mrs. BettyRamsey of Charlotte and to the Rev. W. C. Baughman and family of Asheboro. Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Davis of Norlina celebrated their first anniversary on June 5 at the Davis home. Makes Dean's List 3rd Time Mrs. Marie Aycock Southerland of Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David D. Aycock of Norlina, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Atlantic Christian College in Wilson. Students making the dean's list were required to earn a 3.2 average on a 4.0 scale on at least 12 semester hours of study.
