held a calf show for the
Warrenton Lions Club on
Friday, August 26. Assuming

upcoming county fair, contestants
were surprised by
his scheme. Carl Ayscue,

Fleming, dressed in walking
shorts, were judged for the

Riggan's left calf was

other contestants.
Lion President Clinton
Capps suggested that F. P.
Whitley's education committee
tutor Bill Connell as
to the kind of calves wanted
for the upcoming county
fair, Sept. 26 to Oct. 1.
Whitley, chairman of the
Lions Club educational conmittee,
introduced Ms.
