Plaza Residents Take Part In * Bus Trip,- Manager Named A number of residents at Warren Plaza Rest Home were taken for a bus ride and sightseeing tour on Thursday, October 13. John Phillips served as driver, with Joe Eakes joining the group at Pleasant Hill Rest Home. Residents on the trip were T. B. Vaughan, Francis Green. Marie Brown, Edgar Bullock, Alphonza Bunn, Hattie Kilpatrick, Andrew Stansbury, George Elling Food Personnel Attend Workshop Thirty-four members of Warren County's School Food Service Association attended the District 11 meeting in Raleigh on Oct. 17 at Lynn Road School. Mrs. Jacqueline Puckett, district director, presided over the morning meeting. Mrs. Catherine Hargrove, county president, gave the membership report for Warren County She stated that Warren County had 38 members of the state and national association and 24 of these members were certified Dr Lee Grier, director of Division of Human Relations, N. C. Department of Education, spoke to the group on "Feelings-A Commitment to Every Child." Dr. Grier made a successful pitch for individual student attention from the school food service personnel. Pentecostal Services Outlined By Forehand The Rev. Robert J. Forehand, pastor of the Warrenton Pentecostal Holiness Church has issued the following schedule of ser- i vices: October 30. 10 a. m., Sunday School; 11 a. m. Morning Worship; 7 p. m. Evening Worship. Nov. 2, 7:30 p. m. Family Night, Fellowship and Spiritual refreshment for all. ton, Nannie Williams, Luther Smith, Travis Lamm and Levi Daughtry. Several residents from Pleasant Hill joined the group and they were all taken to McDonald's in Roanoke Rapids, where they were all treated to a meal. Any church, religious organization, club, missionary society or musical group is always welcome at Warren Plaza. Just call and let the manager know when you are coming. The management especially wants area churches to make plans for some programs for the residents during the Christmas holidays. Warren Plaza Rest Home now has a new manager. Mrs. Martha Page will be moving to the Plaza in the near future. She has been a resident of Littleton for nine years. Her husband is employed by the Town of Littleton and she has two daughters. Mrs. Julie Wilson of Roanoke Rapids and Kathy, a student at East Carolina University. The personnel of the Plaza again asks indulgence of visitors until the building and remodeling program is finished.
