C. made a stop in Warrenton Wednesday night Jan Rose, 62, and her sister-in-law Louise Hose, 58, were spotted on U. S. 1 near Franklinton by Mrs. Louise Culler, wife of the pastor of North Warrenton Baptist Church Mrs. Culler invited the twosome to attend prayer meeting at the church and spend the night in Warrenton They were given a night's lodging at the home of Miss Mabel Hooker and the next morning they were taken back to U S 1 by Miss Rooker's sister, Zola Peoples. They hoped to be in South Hill, Va by nightfall The Roses left their l^as Vegas homes last Oc tober and began their trek across country toting 45 pound knapsacks. Although they had to stop for the trucks in its fleet. This past January, the Interstate Commerce Commission granted the firm a license to haul materials in 31 states in the Eastern United States.
