When Zebulon folks take a hold of
anything they believe in doing it l ight
and whole-heartedly. And no pro
ject in a long while has so thorough
ly taken hold of our folks as the Yard
& Garden contest sponsored by the
Zebulon Record and endorsed by the
Rotary, Home Demonstration and Wo
man’s club, P.-T. A and other civic
organizations.
The business men of the communi
ty have added their stamp of approv
al too. The Zebulon Supply Co., tho
first store approached regarding the
contest announced “Yes, sir, count on
us. We are for Zebulon and its folks
and anything they elect to undertake.
Just put us down for some advertis
ing space to show that we are with
them and supporting the contest, and

L Dr Daniel at the Zebulon Drug Co.,

ft stated “We have handled seeds in bulk
ft and package form for 2d years. We
ft specialize in the T. W. Woods seeds.
P This drug store also carries insecti
cides, sprays, fertilizer for the home
\ garden, etc., and we also have every
, thing else a drug store should have.”|
Dr. Harper at the Citizens Drug
Store said “I am with the Record and
the folks of Zebulon and hope we
ht make this Yard & Garden contest a
big success that will attract atten-
tion to our city. And those who need
seeds, sprays, etc., will find them at
our store, which endeav irs at

is no substitute for ice there is no

our city. I am for it. There are
one or two fellows in this town 1

good for what ails them. Ladies, it is
I a great idea.”
J. A. Kemp said “Count us in on a 1
move that Zebulon needs and which
will advertise the town. It is a good
idea for Zebulon to be going ahead
