i We were all very sorry to hear of
i the death of Mr. Cecil Whitley of
Samaria, who was stricken with a
fit and fell into Turkey Creek, and
was drowned. Funeral services were
held at the old home place near Sa
maria. Interment was made in the old
I family burying ground.
Our school closed Friday night with
a good program given by the pupils
; and a b so several selections rendered
|by Murray’s String Band. It was en
joyed by everyone.
