Mr. and Mrs. Tom Broughton and children, of Garner, were on Sunday, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Rob ertson. “Allie Boy” Pippin has been kept out of school for some days by an attack of tonsilitis, which made him quite sick. Rev. A. A. Pippin and Rev. R. H Herring are attending the Baptist, state Convention in Charlotte this week. Mr. and Mrs. James Buchanan and jittlo daughter, with Mrs. Buchanans mother, Mrs. Scarboro, and a little niece visited friends in Zebulon last Sunday. Mrs. J. G. We are very sorry to learn Mr John Pearce is very ill at Duke Hos pital, Durham. We are hoping he will soon be able to return home. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Bonnett and Ilia, of Zebulon, were visitors of their son, Mr. Clifton Bonnett, Monday. Mrs. Frank Ellington and family have our deepest felt sympathy in his death and burial. Prince, a Canadian Great Dane Dog, who has won many cups and ribbons at various dog shows throughout the Dominion of Canada and Snookie, a full grown horse standing 34 inches in height and just one inch taller than his pal, Prince. Junie, the baby Elephant, and bis pa’s present a unique and awe-inspiring display of almost human intelligence consisting of various routines of dances, drills, poses, and other dif ficult execution rarely ever accom plished by animals. The management of the circus has devoted a tremendous sum of money and time to secure the best trainers available to produce this act, which is the only one of its kind now before the public. This act is one of the feature animal acts of mixed groups and has no equal. A special car which is provided to transport these three pals with trainers and attendants from town to town can only be seen with Barnett Bros, this year at Zebulon, on Mon day, November 21, 1932.
