Our attendance picked up some
for Sunday School last Sunday,
but there are still vacant seats.

Rev. Claude Connell supplied for
our pastor Sunday evening. We
are glad Mr. Combs could visit his
mother, who lives in the western
part of the state.
The Bethany G. A. with their
teacher, Mrs. William Cozart held
its meeting Saturday afternoon at
Lake Mirl. It was enjoyed by all.
We are planning for a glori
ous Home Coming at Bethany
Baptist Church on the first Sun
day in October. That will also be
the beginning of our revival week.
Hope all the former members and
pastors can attend along with all
others who will come. Everyone is
welcome.
We are glad Mrs. Luther Watkins
is improving.
We are sorry that Mrs. Lena
Watson is on the sick list again.
Hope she and all others who are
sick will soon be well.
