The board authorized the pur chase of two reels of the film, “In side Story,” to be shown in the Raleigh public schools along with teaching units on tuberculosis. ROTARY (Continued from Page 1) The $40,000 spent for sewer and water lines would be the same as a gift to the property owners, for it would increase the worth of the in Wakelon Heights by more than the amount. Further, the $40,000 would rep resent only an initial expenditure. Probably additional improvement would be necessary on the water plant, and the sewage disposal problem would be greater. In ad dition, police protection and street improvements would have to be provided. Suggested ways of financing the $40,000 cost of water and sewer extensions included: 1) the prop erty owners paying a share of the total; 2) the property owners paying the full cost and adding this expense to the sales price of the individual lots; 3) a bond issue; and 4) a piece-meal extension of the water and sewer lines, as the income of the town permits. Judges for the debate were Ralph Talton, Vance Brown, Nor man Screws, and Howord Beck. Legal referee was Ferd Davis. t Well Boring 20 and 24 inch Call W. M.
