Eight Deaths and Funerals Mrs. Mary B. Flowers Mrs. Mary B. Flowers,, 73, of Route 2, Wendell, died Sunday in Rex Hospital at Raleigh. Richard T. Bray, Jr., and the Rev. Charles B. Summey. Burial will be in Knightdale Cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carison Jones of the home, Mrs. Exum Perry of Wake Forest; Mrs. Betsie Whitley of Tampa, Fla.; four sons, L. E., C. C., of Knightdale, G. V. Flowers of Rich mond, Va., and B. B. Flowers of Raleigh; eight stepchildren. * • Mrs. J. P. Powell Mrs. J. P. Powell, 78, died in Rex Hospital in Raleigh Friday at ternoon. The body was taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. * Surviving are one foster daugh ter, Mrs. Madie Perry of Zebu lon, Route 4; one sister, Mrs. Ker ney Phillips of Zebulon, Route 2; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Cora T. Medlin Mrs. Cora Tant Medlin, 85, of Bunn, died at Franklin Memorial Hospital at Louisburg, Saturday. The Rev. Joe A. Wagomon con ducted the funeral services from the Bunn Methodist Church Sun day at 3 p. m. with burial in the Bunn Cemetery. Surviving are one son, J. Roger Medlin of Bunn; a sister, Mrs. H. H. Mullen of Zebulon, Route 1; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. I f/ CHEVROLET /& ■ HL-M SUNDAY DRILL (Continued from Page 1) Max Loyd. A religious service for the guardsmen was conducted by the Rev. Bev. Asbury, pastor of the Zebulon Baptist Church, before the instruction began. Next Sunday morning the Rev.
