Friday, June 10, 1955 CARE HABIT—PREVENT Lizard Lick News Mrs. Polly Fuller Mr. and Mrs. Ed Morgan of Clayton visited the Billy Gays last Tuesday night. Mrs. John Hinnant and Mrs. Ervin Fuller visited Mrs. M. B. Alford of Tabernacie last Wednes day afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hinnant and Mrs. John Hinnant were visiters in the Corinth section last Tuesday afternoon. Pat Upchurch of Raleigh spent part of last week with Doris Par rish. Miss Crettie Parrish spent Sun day with Miss Ann Alford of Tab ernacle. Mrs. Billy Gay went with her brother, Gene Sealey of the Navy at Weeksville and her mother, Mrs. G. C. Sealey, of Archer Lodge to visit her father at Duke Hospital last Saturday. Mrs. Stancy Gay spent the weekend with the Willard Gays. Pvt. John A. Hinnant of Ft. Eustis, Va., stayed from Thursday until Saturday with his family. Mrs. Billy Gay and Bill spent Saturday night with her mother, Mrs. G. C. Sealey, of Archer Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Graham Lane of Wendell visited the H. L. Hinnants Sunday afterjioon. Larry Wall visited Bill Gay Sat urday. Mrs. W. E. Fuller, Mrs. J. A. Hinnant and Mrs. Billy Gay visited Mrs. M. B. Pierce Irrigation Last Rites Held For Arthur Moore Arthur Moore, 60, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Richardson of Route 1, Wendell. A Wake County farmer, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lovett Moore. Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Wednesday from Clyde’s Chapel Church. The Rev. W. W. Turner of Wendell officiated. Bur ial followed in the church ceme tery. The body was taken to the church at 2 p. m. Surviving are two sons, Thur man of Route 1, Wendell, and George M. Moore of Richmond, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Crawford and Mrs. Richardson, both of Route 1, Wendell, and Mrs. Sallie Waller of Richmond; three brothers, Robert and Dan Moore of Clayton and Frank Moore of Smithfield; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Norris, Mrs. Nancy Hall and Mrs. Fannie Williams, all of Selma; 21 grandchildren. Pastor Dale Davis brought the Sunday night message and the right hand of fellowship was ex tended to those uniting with the church recently. Mrs. Don Phipps and son are staying with her parents, the Cliff Hocutts, while her husband is at Paris Island, S. C. Miss Linda Parrish spent Sun day with Miss Ann Alford. Mrs. Pegy Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Loomis Parrish of Burlington vis ited the M. B. • Alfords Sunday. Wendy and Roland, Hill will move with their mother to Burlington Saturday. Sgt. and Mrs. Hubert Pittman are visiting their parents, the J. V. Pittmans and Oris Richardsons, for a few days before Sgt. Pitt man leaves for overseas duty. Mrs. Pittman will remain with her parents while he is away. Three
