Two 'Come Women, Wide Proclaim' to Be Theme Os WMS General Meeting Monday Afternoon “Come Women, Wide Proclaim” will be the theme of the Woman’s Missionary Society general meet ing to be held at the Zebulon Bap tist Church Monday afternoon at 3:30. According to Mrs. Thurman Murray, program chairman, the in spirational discussion will be de voted to the purpose of the organi zation. She suggests that if you think Circle meetings and the W. M. The Zebulon Record PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. John Terry and Mrs H. C. Wade spent last week end in Washington, D. C. The Ter ry’s visited their son, Lt. Jack Terry, who is stationed at Fort Belvoir. Mrs. Merritt Massey and Miss Beth Massey were expected to re turn Thursday from Jacksonville, Fla., where they have been visiting relatives. Bridge Party Mrs. George Morgan was hostess to the Bridgettes and a number of other guests at her home Wednes day night. Her living room, wnere three tables of bridge were in play, was beautifully decorated with fall flowers and dried ar rangements. After several progressions of bridge Mrs. Barrie Davis and Mrs. Franklin Jones were presented high and low score prizes for club members. Mrs. Helen Gregory and Miss Lois Wall received high and low score prizes for guests. Mrs. Helen Gregory also won the floating prize. The hostess served a delicious dessert course with coffee to the following: Mesdames Barrie De vis, Franklin Jones, Thurman Mur ray, Wilbur Debnam, Steve Black ley, Helen Gregory, Howard Beck, Douglas Finch, Carsey Tippett, Steve Hawkins, and Misses Lois Wall anc j Mary Lacy Palmer. ROSEN BURG Mr. and Mrs. Carshall Strick land and children visited the Billy Liles at Lizard Lick Sunday. Mr. Gus Saunders of Willow Springs is in Rex Hospital with a heart attack. He is the brother of Mary and Nellie Saunders. The H. O. Hicks and children of New London, N. C., and the Her bert Windhams and children of Sarasota visited the Otis Hicks Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jesmon Tippett and Michael attended the Hunni cut family reunion Sunday in Ra leigh. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mangum vis ited her parents, the Ollie Strick lands, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Donahue Baker and Sue of Fountain spent the weekend with the Wilbur Gays re cently. Miss Iva Dean Morris, Mrs. R. B. Moore, Willard and Carlie Mor ris of Raleigh visited their mother, Mrs. Ellen Morris, Monday night, who is ill. Billy Gene Marshall of Wake Forest spent several days with his mother last week. He went on a fishing trip with his grandfather, Mr. K. S. Marshall, last Thursday, near the coast. Mrs. Bessie Gay spent last weekend with her daughter, Mrs. Bill Griffin, at Kinston. Brantley Carter has recovered from an appendix operation and has returned to work with the Co lonial Stores in Cameron Village. Mrs. W. A. Oakley visited her children, the John Perkins and the Bruce Stallings in Raleigh, recent ly. The Lindbergh Rays and chil dren visited her parents, the W. O. Blackleys, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. G. V. Woodard and children of Rockingham vis ited her parents, the Luther Saun ders, Sunday. Mrs. Retha Wright of Wendell, Mrs. Bill Ray, James and Chris tine and Peggy Price visited Mrs. Earnestine Marshall Sunday. Miss Dot Gray of Raleigh vis ited Miss Tootie Oakley during the weekend. Clarence Duke underwent sur gery at Mary Elizabeth Hospital Tuesday. Preas Gay is improving at Rex He spital. Mrs. Cornelia Powell is better at the rest home in Wake Forest. Mrs. Esther Averette and Roxie Bunn are about the same. The following were visitors at my house Sunday: Colonel and Moyle Bunn of Durham, Barbee Bunn of Raleigh, J. C. Godwin and Sylvia Slaughter of Dunn, Lib by Cope and Nova Wall of Corinth, and Velma Pearce of Chapel Hill. The flowers in church Sunday were given by Mabel Mitchell, Mrs. Fred Hood and Lucille Pip pin in honor of Uncle Jesse Bunn. Mr. and Mrs. Brewer of Hali fax County visited the J. O. Pearces Sunday.
