Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Tippett and family of Norfolk, Va., spent the weekend with his parents, the Al fred Tippetts, also the Rev. Ed Miles, pastor of Friendship Free will Baptist Church, was a visitor. The Harold Parrishes and daughter, Bonnie Jeneil, of Hamp ton, Va., spent the weekend with their parents, the Jesse Drivers and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Parrish of Stancil Chapel. Mrs. Lucy Driver return home Saturday from Wilmington where she spent two weeks with her grandson, the Elbert Drivers. Cynthia Creebh spent Sunday night with her cousin, Arlene Hood, of Zebulon. Mrs. Nancy Driver and Mrs. Vick Driver attended a stork shower at the home of Mrs. Mozell Parrish of Stancil’s Chapel Saturday night. The shower was in honor of Mrs. Harold Parrish. Miss Gail Renfrew of Dixie was a Sunday guest of the Douglas Browns and George. Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Sadler of Littleton spent Saturday.- with their daughter, the Clio Vanns. Mrs. Grace Johnson and girls, Susie and Shelia, Mrs. Mamie Creech, Mrs. Lillian Richardson, and Carolyn Strickland visited Mrs. Elmerine Dupree of Clayton last Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Barnie Wilder of Wilson, Mrs. Wade Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Anthoney of Wil son were Sunday guests of the Talmadge Vanns and Jane. The Anthoneys also spent Sunday night with her parents. The Minnie Hinton Circle met Tuesday night at the church. Mr. and Mrs. William Driver and daughter, Pat, visited Mrs. Driver’s brother, the Jack Wil loughbys, and family of Kenly on Sunday night. The Durwood Liles family of Garner visited his mother, Mr. ana Mrs. Will Creech, Sunday. Sunday guests of Mrs. Wade Lee and the James Upchurches were Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Brown and daughter of Raleigh and Mr. and Mrs. Barnie Wilder of Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Chamblee and family of Raleigh were Sun day guests of his brother, the Frank Chamblees. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown of North Wilkesboro visited his par ents, the Rex Browns, during the weekend. The Rev. and Mrs. Robert Lov ell, Jr., went to Mullen, S. C., to visit friends and relatives Sunday. The Randy Creeches were Sun day night supper guests of her mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Hicks, of Knightdale. Ray V. Tillette of Cranford, N.
