This prize makes a total of ,fl4.(MI prize money he has won since he began selling the Post. Mr. S. A. Schloss, who leases the Concord opera house, is north ar ranging for next season's attractions. He will also attend a meeting of the klaw-hrlanger combination which at present is in a big mix up as to theat rical trusts, etc. The opera house, with Mr. Schloss as lessee, is in the Klaw Krlanger Sviidivate. Mrs. H. M. Barrow, who left here early last Sunday morning with the loxly of 'her father, Mr. J. J. Garrett, was delayed by a wreck near Kaleigh. She missed the connection at Seliua, and had to go to Ctoldshoro and stay all night. She reached Rocky Mount with the body Monday, and the body was interred nejr there that after noon. Mr. .1. S. Stroud, of Apex, has ac cepted a position at the Locke Cot ton mill and arrived 111 the cilv ves- erday afternoon to begin bis new work. Mr. Stroud graduated at the A. & M.
