the front yard of the home.
Thompson was a married man, and
Is survived by his widow and three
children. They were away from home
when the shooting occurred.
The fact that there apparently were
no eyewitnesses to the murder makes
the affair one of mystery. No clue has
yet been foundi by authorities, but
strenuous effiirts are being made to
trace the murdered, I lie position oi
