I Marysville, P»„ Oct. s.—When n I troupe of vaudeville players, including * a bevy of pretty blondes and brunettes. | made a visit here to appear in a local j theatre, some young men considered it their duty to show tlie girls around town and have them visit candy stores, fountains, dance halls and such. Forty-eight hours of entertainment fol lowed. When the curtain rpse for the perform ance last night, young men formed a large part of the audience. Some youths were envious of those who had been favored by the thespians. Others pre tended they didn't care a whoop. Hold ers of front seat tickets scalped them at a profit. The thrill came in the last act, when the "actresses" snatched the wigs from their heads and stood before the audience with unmistakable masculine features. Then all eyes were turned to the young men who had so delightfully eutertained the “show girls." Report of Llbt ary For September. Borrowers 5,317. New borrowers 25.
