The i shooting occurred at the farm of B. A. Goodman, near Concord. Sheriff R. V. Caldwell, Jr., quotes J Morgan as saying the shooting was; an accident, the officer being told that Furr picked up the 'gun, which was lying on a table, and pulled the trig ger, thinking it was not loaded. Furr has not been located, the of ficers reported after a search MTh home and other places where he is ac customed to spend his time. There was a man from Kannapolis in the room at the time, Morgan said, but the wounded man did not know him. he told the officers.
