Many New Innovations in Camp Life.
—IN Camp Site Selected, a Dam

in Large Tents.—One of Jhe Most
Beautiful Places in The Land of Mo
Sky an Ideal Location.
Three secretaries will accompany
the boys beside a number of selected
leaders.
This will undoubtedly be the .biggest
camp in the State with every 'depart
ment Under skilled instructors.
Secretary Johnson will have chargd l
of thj culinary arts.looking after the
program of boys work. Rev. R. S.
Arrow-owl of McKinnon Church, Rev
C. H. True Mood of the First Baptist
Church, Rev. Thos. Higgins, Forest
HIU Methodist Church. Rev. M. L.
Kester, of Calvary Lutheran, Rev. M.
R. Gibson of the A. R. P. Church, and
Rev. \V. C. Lyerly have, been asked to
tisit the camp. Several of these min
isters have already signified their in
tention of taking part in the religious
program of the camp.
The camp is operated for the Pun
day Gang, many of these boys have
never had the opportunity of a
camp in the mountains, the entire
.expense of the camp is to be borne by
the Y. Many real lenders nf Ofll- •
cprd’B futnre citisens will eome from
this camp. This is where some of the
money will bewpent that you art con
tributing .for the maintenance of On
cord’s great Christian Institution.
I’hys'cnl Director Denfiy is taking '
a large number of older boys to eamp
to be trained a* ieaders—the wonder
ful summer physicAl program will be |
under his able guidance.
Parents Will have an opportunity to
visit the boys at this great camp. Sec .
retary Blanks is anxious that every
parents consent for his boy to go—
this is the great event that two hun
dred boys of Concord have been look
ing forward to for many months.
DOST LET GEORGE DO IT ALL.
In my opinion, the Y. M. C. A. at
this time is rendering a service to our
community that places it'right along
with the church, the public library
and the public schools and it deserves
the support of ail our fbod citizens.
It is doing the work that might be
done by the Sunday Schools but it is
doing it a great deal better and more
; economically than it can be done by
' the individual schools.
Personally, I ,am always glad to
make a contribution to the support of
the Y and I pay it Just exactly as \
do my church dues. I believe in the
Y because I am in a position to gee
the good it does.
May God glees you and your work,
Mr. Blanks.
