C.. today was to go to Raleigh to begin serving his sentence of 25 to 30 years in the state prison. He was convicted recently ir superior court here of Becond degree murder for the slaying of Mrs. Elizkbeth D. Jones, of Appalachia, YaJ bis conviction, Jenkins filed notice of appeal.
