Ovation For Ray
That audiences do not forget old
favorites was proven recently in
Los Angeles when the Paramount
studios held the first public pre
view of "Ladies Should Listen,"
coming Thursday, Sept 27, to the
Palace Theatre.
In this picture, Charles Ray, one
time star of country boy roles, stages
his comeback in a minor role .
The applause with which the
audience greeted his first scene on
the screen was nothing short of a
rousing; bvation. Since then, sev
eral offers from various producers
have been received by Ray.
