The Cross chapter of St. Andrews Brotherhood will send delegates to the convention, which meets in Char lotte on May 9th. and 10th. The "Te Deum" especial ly, is something grand. We are Sflad to see considerable interest manifested nm Golf. The Club has a very good membership now, and the members are begin ning to appreciate the sport. There will be an unusually large number of applicants for places as senior orators : this year. It is good - sign, and creditable to the English department and Literary societies. For the past week or so we have had entertainments and lectures in abundance, but they have come from the outside world. Why can not we have more from within, for instance lectures by ! members of the Fac ulty? Bishop Rond thaler of the Moravi an Church, has been: invited to de liver the Baccalaureate sermon to the Class of '96. The selection is a very wise one and the Class is to be congratulated in securing a minister of such prominece. We are glad to hear of the sue cess oi w . ri. E. Coker and Stephens. Special attention is given to the college work on Friday and on Mon day4 there will be a conference of the Presidents of College Associations. The Charlotte Observer announces the approaching marriage of Miss Lou Robertson, daughter of Dr. J. F. Robertson, of Charlotte, to Mr. E. B. Graham, ex. '96, on April 26th; .
