A Wonderful .invention.;-
Zoology teaches that the hairs of the head
are hollow, and-contain an oil that gives
them Hfe. In .clipping the hair with scis
sors, this hollow is left open, and the hair
loses its life-giving properties.
I have a Machine named the Singling Ma
chine, which removes the hair and at the
same time closes up the hollow, causing the
hair to retain its life-giving properties,' and
therefore stopping the hair from falling out
or dying, and giving it a soft growth.
Call and examine this machine and have
your hair singed.
Special attention given to dressing La
dies' hair. Cutting done with exquisite and
srtistts skill by tW old University Barber
of twenty years' experience.', :
The singing machine is. highly recom
mended by scientists throughout the country.
Very ltespi- tiuliy,

West. He gave a succinct , account
of a six month geological trip over
Western United States.
The interesting ..fact that over
150000 square miles of our western
territory is covered by numerous
layers of volcanic material was
brought out.
The famous Black lands of Dako
ta the great wheat growing section
of America are the result of the de
composition of this material.
Many specimens collected from
the localities visited were exhibited
and an interesting account, also of
Geological conditions prevailing in
Yellow Stone park was given.
