Gregory, Allsbrook, Par ker, and Best of the Law Class left here Sunday morning- for Durham, where they took the evening train for Raleigh, to stand the Supreme Court exatnaintion. Messrs. D. P. Parker and B. B. Lane, Jr. of the Phi. will argue the negative in the approaching an nual inter-society debate. This debate in the past has been of considerable interest in that phase of University life, and we may hope as much for it on this occa sion. Mr. W. D. Pritchard, '01, has accepted a $2000 clerkship at Ha vana, Cuba. Ask H. L. Watson about his won derful 'Possom Hunt. An excellent cut of Mr. J. Nichols, '97, appeared in the News and Observer of February 4th. We congratulate Mr. Nichols on the success he is having in politics.
