Dr. Ransford, Rector of Trinity Church in New York City, conducted chapel for us and then made a talk on Valor. He is a great man and takes a "yreat interest in athletics. He was stroke i on the Cambridge crew when he was at college there, and a few years aj"0 won the'., g'olf champion ship of the United States. At another time. President Bird sail of Swathmore College, P;i., was here and made us a most inter esting" talk on Faithfulness. Intermediate Examinations are all over and reports are as jjood as usual. The examinations were hard and tedious, but we are- .triad to know, that we , have put '. another half year behind us and have it to our credit on a degree. The candidates for the base ball team have not been able to do much work so far. , A larre number of last year's men are back aud the outlook for a winning- team are very' favorable.
