And yet we are forced to go out five af ternoons tn a week to this wretched apology' for a gymnasium, and have the importance of regular exercise impressed on us by warnings of being "put on probation" and other direful things. Arid when we do go! Well we prance around like a lot of escaped luuatics and go away with the consciousness of duty done. And that is exercise. There is not a prep school in the State with any claim to prominence which has not a gymnasium incom parably better than our own, and yet we claim to be the head of edu cation, mental and physical, in the State. How we ever maintain it is a mystery. . ' While we have on our heavy shoes we would also like to register a kick against the lights or rather the absence of lights under the li brary. Then there is the lack of any. bathing facilities, we have baths and shower baths, rusting and beino ruined but no water. When a fellow comes off the field from baseball and football practice lemust eithei remain dirty orspend a half hour carrying water and get ting ready a bath. By this time, the reaction has come, he is cold tired and out of spirits and has lost lis desire for a bath. We know the reason why we have not vet a complete system of waterworks but with all the wetness ofthe past six weeks we see no excuse for the lack of an abundant supply of water in the bath-rooms, - Junior.
