His lecture was from personal observations and was il lustrated by stereoptican views. Mr. Livlngtone Barbour. The few who heard Mr. Barbour Saturday evening enjoyed a rare treat. His impersonation of char acters and his rendition of selections from David Copperfield were mas terly. In his portrayal of Ham Peggotty and of Uriah Heep he showed consumate dramatic skill. Though he gave but short select ions thev were so arranged as to make out a well finished presenta tion of the principal theme of Dicken's masterpiece. It is a mat ter of considerable surprise that at Mr. Barbour s second visit to the Hill he should have been greeted by so small an audience. It does not argue, much for the taste of the students. fiOV TaYI flfi" Few limited time weoffer CDCC QUIi IAI LUn 0 a book of iooivu;es,con- rntt I nVF I FTTFR tabling 13 of iior.
