It's an old caution not to "tei I talcs out of school" but own such a time honored custom oceasionly be violated if thereby abuses may be remedied through publicity. More than once in the recent past certain persons have endeavored to intro duce kindergarten amusements into one of the senior recitations. Though Uni.ersitv students who have passed beyond the sophomore stage should be and generally are sufficiently aware of the seriousness of life, to have put away childish things it is evident that there are some who are not, and these try to amuse themselves and annoy their classmates on the recitation we have reference to: by such in fantile devices as putting rubber on the stove or as was done last week by putting "stink" bottles on or near ' the recitation room. Th students themselves should see to it that nothing of the kind is allow ed to happen., again. Within two months of graduation they should not allow themselves to be annoyet and their attention distracted for the pleasure of a few thoughtless individuals They should rather make these individuals think. .
