Boys State (Continued from page 3) county, and state government, athletics, and fellowship. Under the direction of Bill Kucyk, assistant Intramural di rector for the University, an ex tensive program of athletics will be offered the boys. University aw students will act as counse- ors for the program. Besides two organized leagues n basketball and softball, there .vill be single elimination tourna- nents in tennis, table tennis, bad- ninton, and horseshoes. There .vill also be recreational swim- ning and instruction for begin ners. The day will begin for the boys it 6:15, with calisthenics on Emerson Field. In the afternoon, they will take part in the various ithletic activities. During the week the boys will ?lect county and state "officers" xr the Boys State. The "inaugu- ation" will take place on Satur day.
