North Carolina Lily Society held
at the home of Mrs. H. R. Totten,
president, Sunday.

Bill Roth, of Oteen, has been
selected as successor to Jim Rath
burn as director of the Graham
Memorial Student Union.
Roth will assume on September
1 the duties of maintaining the
building, keeping it open approx
imately 15 hours a day, keeping
the Student Union in operation,
and organizing a varied program
of education and entertainment.
One of the biggest jobs will be
encouraging student initiative in
organizing their own activities.
Roth has been active in the
Alpha Phi Omega, national ser
vice fraternity, and is presently
working for his master's degree
in personnel management in the
School of Commerce.
