The Waugus, scoring at least once in every inning, got things off to a blasting start in the bot tom of the first by scoring three runs. Joe Romano, ex-football player, playing with a painfully injured thumb, got a double with the bases loaded 10 give me Waugus a lead they never re- froin his sprained thumb. Bob Reynolds came through for the victors in the second inning by slamming a home run with the bases loaded. The Mountaineers eot their first run in the top half ,o the inning. The Waugus scored twice in the third, and once each in the fourth and fifth. The Moun taineers tallied once in the third, and brought in two runs m the fourth on the strength of sec cessive home runs by Jim Gudger and Jim Barnwell, CHECK-UP!
