sians have slightly different
plans in mind than those out
lined for them by Drew Pearson.
The most recent issue of "News
week Magazine" reports that
"last week in London, Feodor
Guseff, Soviet Deputy at the
Council now trying to draft peace
treaties, agreed to participate in
discussions of an international
regime for Trieste, thus disasso
ciating himself from the Yugo
slavs who demand exclusive
sovereignty over the city."

Promotion Scheme
At Kansas School
Produces Results
The Staff of The Daily Kansan
of the University of Kansas re
cently dreamed up what they
termed a "corny promotion
idea." The midwestern journal
ists sent to all managing editors
far and wide a picture of one
Margery Stubbs clothed m noth
ins: but copies of the Daily
Kansan.
According to Bill Haage, of
the Kansan staff, reader interest
was terrific. It seems that dear
Margery has become the official
"paper-up" girl of the Kansan.
Despite the freedom which
such an outfit provides, Miss
Stubbs doesn't recommend the
garb as a campus costume. Ap
parently the wind and the rain
are still with the good students
of Kansas. '
