Director Swalin; "On the Trail'
from "Grand Canyon Suite"
Grofe; and a waltz, "Vienna
Life," Strauss.
The orchestra is making a con
cert tour to all parts of the state,
with programs appealing to per
sons of almost every, musical
taste. From the musical works
of all types of good composers,
both classic and modern, has
- been drawn the repertoire for
this season's playing in more
than fifty North Carolina towns
and cities. It is estimated that
the orchestra will, before the
tour is completed, reach some
100,000 people.
